Rebuild the unreleased changelog block from the commits on this line

The block is rebuilt from a walk of what has landed here since v0.4.1
rather than from what it already held, and the flat Added/Changed/Fixed
lists are reorganized into subsections by area: platforms, the native
datagram API, the OpenWrt mesh, node lifecycle, the library surface, the
control socket, and the rest. Everything from 0.4.1 down is untouched.

It now carries this line's own work only. The fixes authored on maint
were sitting here in their pre-rework form, and they come back with the
next merge up in the state maint now holds them, so keeping a stale
second copy would only guarantee the two disagree. What is removed here
is byte-identical to what maint carries, checked rather than assumed.

The probe fix landed since the walk gets an entry under the control
socket. Three other commits deliberately get none. Deleting the
remote_epoch shadow field touches a pub(crate) type and changes no
behaviour a user or an embedder can observe. The first-frame deadline on
the shared proxied receive loop is already described by the maint entry
that arrives with the merge, which states the end condition this commit
makes true here. And bounding the FreeBSD package job is a change to a
hosted CI workflow, invisible to anyone running the local pipeline,
which is the test the harness entries elsewhere in this block are held
to.
