Open the maintenance line at 0.5.3-dev

v0.5.2 is released, so the maintenance branch opens for the next patch.
The version becomes 0.5.3-dev and the changelog's Unreleased heading
loses the note pointing at where the release content was folded. The
status badge and README text stay at v0.5.2, which name the released
version on this branch.
