Claude da1b4d70ab test: point the search-parity oracle at wss://search.brainstorm.world
Switch fetch_fixtures.py's default relay and the parity tests' docs from
search-staging to the production search relay, and re-record
tools/search-parity/fixture.json from it. The new corpus keeps the same
shape: 8 cases x 8 events, every event satisfies its NIP-01 filter, and
8 of 64 carry no literal occurrence of their search term, so the KDoc's
numbers still hold; its quoted examples are swapped for ones in the new
recording. Also fixes the script's usage line, which pointed at a stale
output path.

All of the arguments against it don't matter, if you hardly ever interact with it and it merely sits in cold storage to prove your solvency.\n\nIf you just want to buy a cup of coffee, pay your taxes, or order a flight online, you can use a second-rail of Bitcoin to do that, like Lightning.\n\nOr use dollars or poker chips or frequent flyer miles or a pack of cigarettes or a silver coin or wash the dishes... or whatever they'll accept in exchange.\nNone of these things negate the importance of Bitcoin, nor are they generally more-efficient or effective than something like Lightning.",

"summary",
"The experiment, carried out by user 'Printer', uplinked a Lightning invoice as an image to the QO-100 amateur radio transponder and downlinked it back to Earth, where it was decoded and settled over the Lightning Network. This demonstrates the ability to deliver payment requests off-grid, which could be useful for disaster recovery, censorship resistance, or engineering curiosity."

It is the second one I have found. I'm, writing this as a test, but so fair I have noticed my markdown syntax is not being rendered yet. On the other hand, I also seem to be able to see my blogstack post on Habla as well. This is why it's a test. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how this all works.\n\n\n\nI've been writing a blog about how I use bitcoin since April on a platform namedtw Ghost under a pseudonym. I wrote on that platform for the following reasons:\n\n* I want to be a writer\n\n* I spend most of my waking hours thinking about bitcoin.\n\n* Marty Bent uses Ghost and had this paywall I thought was really cool at the time.\n\nMarty's paywall is actually kind a neat, Instead of asking his readers to pay an annual subscription fee like the New York Times, You could just pay 50 cents per article. This is much better than the New York Times Paywall. When I first heard of it, I thought writers could only get paid on the Internet with a paywall or ads. The mechanics of the system did not leave many options. Lightning addresses worked, but most people never heard of them and even most Bitcoiners didn't use them. Yalls had a paywall, but the UX wasn't great. I first thought of starting a blog because of yalls. I thought I could do magic tricks over video for tips, like buskers in Vegas, but on the Internet. Then I thought, I'm not that good at magic and I don't feel comfortable throwing my face out there like a whore on the Internet (No disrespect to sex workers, but **I doubt anyone would pay for my sex services** and **my wife would not approve**.) I also have a degree in creative writing, but I'm a bit rusty. The lightning network got me interested in writing again.\n\nIt's what prompted me to run my own lightning node in the first place. I think this was back in 2018 or 2019. At the time, I tried running [Pierre Rochard's lightning node](https://github.com/lightning-power-users/node-launcher), but didn't have the technical chops to pull it off on my old Windows laptop. It might have worked if I knew that I needed to plug the damn thing into an Ethernet cable to download the bitcoin blockchain.(We didn't use the term time chain in those days).\n\n----\n\nHis paywall was an order of magnitude better than running my own node to accept tips on yalls.org, so I started my blog on ghost with the intention of using his paywall software.\n\nI spun up a virtual private server on Bitlaunch.\n\nI installed Yunohost because it was easy to set up Ghost. \n\nNow Marty finally launched his service. If you like this model, you can use it for charges 10 bucks a month.\n\nFor the record, **I really like Marty**. I listen to Rabbit Hole Recap every week. I'm not trying to ruffle any feathers, or shit on his side project, but [@dergigi](https://dergigi.com/2021/12/30/the-freedom-of-value/) convinced that the paywall model will soon go the way of the doorstep delivered newspaper. If you don't have time to read or listen to that entire article, please listen to this 30 second clip of the Bitcoin.Review podcast created by [Oscar Merry](https://fountain.fm/clip/VF7nRhSOGejzI4KbfsWG).\n\n----\n\n## Blogs Can Be Nostr Native\n\nThere's no reason to spin up a server on a VPS to start a blog anymore. No reason to host it on a Raspberry Pi. You don't need to buy a shared hosting account. You don't need to install ruby, gem or jekyll to host it on Github. You don't even need to buy a domain, although you might want to buy one for a [DIY Nip 05 verification](https://nvk.org/n00b-nip5). Hopefully, in the not too distant future, you won't even need Github. Habla.news is a Medium alternative, but there's no reason why we couldn't have a Github alternative. We're just waiting on someone to build it. \n\nThe reason I find this value 4 value model built on Nostr so exciting now is because *it is now trivial for those who produce value to receive value* and *trivial for those who cherish valuable content to send value to those who produce it*. \n\n**Why spend the time setting up ghost or pay a fee to accept lightning payments or a ghost account?** --*Especially if you are writing a blog about bitcoin.\n\nI like the idea of charging for services, but paywalls just don't jive with the old walled garden model anymore. \n\nNostr is censorship resistant. Anyone can create a nostr key.\n \n[Some freaks say it's not normie ready](https://iris.to/post/note1mn98w4szpnkdfc53sqmgwme0akrt7wz5vzvvwwm840qv0020zu4s2fe62f), but it is much easier to create a private key than create a blog using the aforementioned options. I look forward to the day when we see more no-coiners witnessing how trivial it is to send value over the Internet. [@TheGuySwann](https://iris.to/post/note1c39e8k2c0uj7l77q0p7md5a9rahumv8dr57crd3r4xq7tegecn9sx7tckq) wrote a great post about how Facebook spent years developing their shitcoin, only to get shut down by congress.\n\n----\n### Paywalls Not Required\n\n**You couldn't accept native bitcoin on any other platforms until now**. Now **plebs are zapping each other left and right**.\n\nIn the value 4 value model, the zapper sets the value on the article. The paywall sets a price on reading the full article.\n\n\n\n* We **don't need paywalls anymore.**\n\n* **I don't need to send you spam** .\n\n* If you want to read my blog, just **follow me on Nostr.**\n\n* We **don't need to rely on digital overlords** to create content. \n\n* We **don't need ads **to monetize content. \n\n**Ads suck.**\n\nThis is **pure vida.**\n\n----\n\n**Nostr is the first amendment translated into code** like Satoshi translated this math:\n\n![bitcoin supply math](https://blog.lopp.net/content/images/2022/01/subsidy_equation.jpg)\n\n\n----\n\n\nInto this code:\n\n----\n\n![bitcoin monetary supply ](https://blog.lopp.net/content/images/2022/01/Screenshot-from-2022-01-10-18-07-46.png)\n\n----\nWe can write without **undue influence** from ads, corporations, or even governments.\n\n\n\n**We can create a better Internet.**\n\n\n\n**Code is speech.\nCypherpunks write code.**\n\n\n**Nostr makes speech unstoppable**.\n\nThat's a big fucking deal.\n\n\n\n**Blogging Bitcoin**\n\n![block](https://nostr.build/i/nostr.build_62b2b95fdf1b8df642842d7a7d27c3dee975e32ed60db4ab9abf3e9f19885526.png)\n\n------------\n\n\n[![Value 4 Value](https://nostr.build/i/nostr.build_571397a69b34a41f499ad9b057a49c65531e104785428e5a00a56a500017e60f.png)](https://bloggingbitcoin.store/apps/cd4EUVkfhWbTg5UZsbCJPi5ghxZ/pos)\n",

"content": "Putting this out again...don't know why, but somehow I think it's important. Who can figure this out?\n----\nI don't know if it's possible, but it certainly _feels_ possible. Can there be NFTs on Nostr?\n\nhttps://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/crrdlx/23wXQUJXU4KEFX3rg8VusMYEhYF8NYKcY991K1zzqDyq6oTgBDPrs83m48DNn9rzp57c3.png\n\nI've written and pondered on NFTs a few times and come up with a definition that I think works in laying out exactly what an NFT actually is. I defined NFTs as Verified Unique Ownership (VUO for short). (See NFTs defined in three words | PeakD and ponderings at PeakD)\n\nThe upshot of VUO is this:\n\nV = verified = The NFT (which is nothing more than metadata such as a custom JSON) is openly visible to all to verify and cannot be altered.\nU = unique = The NFT/metadata is unique. Although a monkey jpeg may be the same for all 1,000 mints, the owner of mint #1 will definitely not trade with the owner of mint #859.\nO = ownership = The NFT can be transferred to another person and that transfer can also be verified.\n\nWith regards to Nostr, the V, the verified, seems to be the challenge. It seems that the hang-up would be persistence (or lack of persistence) in data. That is, having the metadata persistently stored on Nostr may be a high hurdle. It may be impossible. For instance, if I minted an NFT and the metadata got stored on several Nostr relays, it seems that would work. The data can be verified by others. It's persistently verifiable until...those relays go down or close up shop or purge that metadata note. Then, that NFT is gone. This, of course, differs from a blockchain.\n\nRegarding the O of ownership, I'm really not sure how that would transpire on Nostr. But, I think clever people could figure that out. If the persistent V of verifiability were solved, then a persistent alteration should also be possible to track on the \"Nostr blockchain\", the \"nostrchain.\"\n\nIf this were possible...what would be the use cases? I really don't know. I do think they would emerge though. Being around Nostr suggests to me that the fun-factor would be off-the-charts though. There are some clever and comical people in this space. Fun, is an important use-case in my view, by the way!\n\nWen NFTs on #Nostr?\n#plebchain",
